Congratulations to all the brides who are getting married in June! This is such an exciting time in your life, and as a wedding & Lifestyle photographer, I know firsthand how important it is to have beautiful, timeless photographs to look back on and remember your special day.

If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend booking an engagement or bridal shoot. Not only will this give you a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and try out different poses, but it will also give you a preview of what to expect on your wedding day and allow you to get to know your photographer a bit better.

Speaking of photographers, it's important to choose someone who not only takes beautiful photos but also understands your vision for your wedding day. So, take the time to meet with multiple photographers and look at their portfolios to get a feel for their style and make sure it aligns with what you have in mind. Don't be afraid to ask questions and communicate your needs and expectations. This is one of the most important days of your life. Your photographer will be with you throughout most of your wedding day, so it's important to choose someone you feel comfortable and relaxed around.

On the day of your wedding, there are several key moments to make sure your photographer captures. These include getting ready shots of you and your bridal party, the first look (if you choose to do one), the ceremony (including exchanging rings, cutting the cake, and your first kiss as newlyweds), formal portraits of the wedding party, and family, and candid shots of you and your guests enjoying the reception.

To ensure you get the most beautiful and memorable photos possible, here are a few tips:

Make sure your photographer has a shot list: This will help ensure that all the important moments are captured and nothing is missed.

Pay attention to lighting: Natural light is always the best option for photography, so try to plan your ceremony and portraits around times when the lighting will be most flattering.

Choose a good location: A beautiful setting can and will, make all the difference in your photos. Consider the time of year and the natural surroundings when choosing your wedding venue.

Don't be afraid to show your personality: Your wedding photos should be a reflection of your and your partner's unique personality and styles. Don't be afraid to incorporate props or do something a little different to make your photos stand out.

I hope these tips help you have a smooth and stress-free wedding day and result in beautiful, timeless photographs you'll treasure forever. Best of luck to all the June brides!
